I painted the exterior wall of “Tokyo Lifestyle” in the Happo area of Hakuba, Nagano. This area requires color restrictions under local landscape regulations, prior approval through the district council under a residents’ agreement, and a prefectural application due to wall size—taking about six months from start to completion. With scaffolding, lighting, and step-platform coordination, it was a project that demanded strong management as well as painting.
