I painted both the exterior and interior walls of Shino Saltworks on the Echizen Coast in Fukui. Under the theme “Life as it is,” I depicted the client’s family, the setting sun… Two years after the first painting, I returned to add new family members and animals. The work became a piece that holds the feeling of connection through painting.
